Arukah Essentials started the way the best things usually do — not with a business plan, but with a mother who refused to settle.
My son was diagnosed with severe eczema, and like any parent I went straight to the doctor looking for answers. What I got was a prescription cream — and a warning. Use only a little, they said, because it will thin his skin. I sat with that for a moment and thought, how can something meant to heal him also harm him? That didn't sit right with me. I knew there had to be a better way.
So I started researching. I studied ingredients, I learned what nature had already provided, and I began making a body balm with my own hands — clean, intentional, and free from anything I wouldn't feel good putting on my child. I put it on my son's skin and watched what happened.
It worked.
That moment changed everything. What started as a solution for my family became something I felt called to share. Because I knew there were other mothers out there.
